The breakfast was delicious with mixed toast; the staff were attentive. The location was fab and exceptional, for example, Parliament House was not too far from the hotel. Restaurants and bars were near the place.

Lovely listed building in peaceful yet central location. The deluxe double room was very comfortable and the under-floor heating in the shower room very welcome. Staff were really helpful and relaxed and breakfast was great.

Had a twin room with a modern bathroom with both shower and great shower, for example.

Airy rooms with an electric kettle, a sofa bed and central heating. Very comfy beds and respectful staff. Peaceful and best possible location next to shops of Edinburgh and the restaurant in a local area.

The suite with the four poster bed was palatial, and the decor. It's conveniently situated near the courtyard exit. Breakfast was decent too.

but the mini fridge wasn't powered on arrival, a bit disappointing.

Amazing stay with a dreamy bath!

We spent 4 nights in this fine suite with a four-poster bed. The room was so spacious and the freestanding bath was a highlight! The staff, especially Susan, were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty too, perfect for fueling our adventures. Only bummer was the shower could've used a bit more water pressure.

Very enjoyable,clean,friendly,well priced well located. I highly recommend this hotel and if i come back to Edinburgh this will be my 1st choice to stay

A great small hotel, would recommend it to others. I would certainly go back for another city break.

The stay was delightful, marked by a spacious room with a four-poster bed and a charming ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the fantastic breakfast the next morning, which was well-presented and tasty. The location was very convenient, making it easy to explore Edinburgh's local attractions. I did notice some bathroom elements that needed attention, like the shower head and door, but it didn't significantly detract from my overall experience.

it was a very clean hotel. and the room was very stylish..

i thought for the price we paid. the organisation of the staff at breakfast was a shambles.. long waiting times and mixed up orders for food were not in line with how the hotel looked to the eye!!

The location near enough to walk to the shops but not right in the centre.The way the georgian building was decorated and the pleasant staff.

The decor felt luxurious and special. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transport. Staff were attentive. Breakfast was enjoyable and well-presented 😊

Beautiful period building... Lovely spotlessly clean room. Gorgeous bathroom with quality complimentary toiletries. Had a tasty filling breakfast made with good quality products. Staff very friendly.

The location quite but city central

Welcoming staff and a charming atmosphere. The room was cozy, but the bathroom’s design might not suit everyone, and we faced a minor delay with room service. A decent stay, complemented by a good breakfast.
